$UMJA Airdrop

Airdrop recipients are early protocol adopters who have accrued points by opening a synth position or participating in The Factory Quest. To reward early adoption of the protocol, 10M $UMJA tokens will be disbursed.

Phase 1: Airdrop Eligibility (Until October 28th)

To become airdrop eligible, you might earn protocol points:

- Engage with Umoja protocol by placing Synths.

- Enter The Factory: complete shifts and earn Umojis that can be converted into protocol points. You have until October 28th to participate. The countdown shows the time left until Umoja´s Token Generation Event.

Phase 2: Redeem period (From October 31st to November 30th)

Starting on October 31st, the Airdrop redemption interface will show the number of accrued points you can use to redeem $UMJA tokens. Use the Leaderboard button to see your position in the ranking.

The countdown will show the days left to redeem your token rewards.

At this moment, you will be asked to choose how to redeem your tokens:

1. “Vest to earn more”:

   Compete to earn a bonus of $UMJA for vesting your tokens to the Airdrop Vesting Bonus Pool. Select a time-locked vesting period and increase your final disbursement of $UMJA tokens. You can choose to vest your tokens for 30 days, 60 days, or 180 days. Bonus rewards will depend on how many tokens you vest, the vesting period you choose, and the choices of the other participants. The longer you vest, the more rewards you can get.

• Connect your wallet.

• Click on the “Vest to earn more” button.

• Select your vesting period: 30 days, 90 days, or 180 days.

• Click the “Vest” button to lock the entire airdrop token allocation. You can not lock a partial amount of it.

• Sign the transaction using your crypto wallet.

• You will be redirected to your airdrop dashboard page.

• You will be prompted to return to this page on December 1st to unlock your rewards.

1. “Early Redeem”: Select to early claim your $UMJA tokens, without any possibility of increasing your final disbursements of tokens.

• Visit https://umoja.xyz/airdrop

• Connect your wallet.

• Click the “Early Redeem” button.

• Click the “Yes, redeem” option to claim the entire airdrop token allocation. You can not redeem a partial amount.

• Sign the transaction using your crypto wallet. Remember to add the contract address for the $UMJA Token:

• You will be redirected to your airdrop dashboard page to check your total $UMJA tokens and transaction details.

Users who fail to select either option within the claim period (31 days) will forfeit their airdrop and forfeit their tokens to the Airdrop Vesting Rewards pool.

Phase 3: Vesting period (From December 1st)

Starting December 1st, the Airdrop redemption interface will show your final $UMJA rewards if you decide to Vest. Visit the airdrop dashboard page to discover this information. Your total rewards depend on the participation of all users.

How to unlock your rewards:

1. Visit https://umoja.xyz

2. Connect your wallet

3. Navigate to the airdrop dashboard page.

4. Options:

   1. If you decide to Vest:

      • Discover your rewards.

      • Click on the “Unlock rewards” button to start claiming your $UMJA tokens. Throughout the vesting period, you will be able to make partial redemption of your vested tokens on a linear release schedule once a day.

      • Sign the transaction using your crypto wallet. Remember to add the contract address for the $UMJA Token:

      • Continue claiming your rewards until the last day of your vested period.

      • Check the Airdrop dashboard for your total $UMJA tokens and transaction details.

How Airdrop Points Are Calculated? First, Factory points are added to Protocol points:

• For users who placed a Synth and participated in The Factory, their points will be summed according to the theoretical equation as follows:

  • Total User Points = Protocol Points + 1/2 *(Factory Points), where Factory Points are counted proportional to what a user would earn if they had placed a synth to earn said points.

• For users who did NOT place a Synth but did participate in The Factory, their points will be summed according to the theoretical equation as follows:

  • Total User Points = 1/5 *(Factory Points), where Factory Points are counted proportional to what a user would earn if they had placed a synth to earn said points.

Once Umojis are converted into Protocol Points, the total Protocol Points are then used to determine your airdrop allocation using this formula:

1. Divide your individual Protocol Points by the total sum of everyone’s Protocol Points.

2. Multiply that number by 2 million—the total $UMJA airdrop pool.

This gives you your base $UMJA reward.
